Todd Moore
Todd currently owns MCG Sports, a sports and lifestyle marketing company located in Davidson, NC. Moore served as the executive vice-president of SFX/Cotter Group from 1994-2001. His extensive NASCAR experience dates back to 1985 where he worked for the International Speedway Corporation (ISC), who owns fourteen major racing facilities including the Daytona International Speedway in Florida and sister company NASCAR.
One of Moore’s most memorable experiences in his career was to have the opportunity to work with the founder of NASCAR, Bill France Sr. for several years. Moore became the General Manager of the Watkins Glen International Speedway and in 1994 partnered with Tom Cotter to help develop Cotter Group into a truly integrated sports marketing and communications business. He has over 18 years of motorsports experience in marketing, sales, facilities management, team negotiations, corporate marketing, strategic consultation and business planning.

David Hovis
David serves as a Communications Manager at MCG Sports as the PR representative for the #43 and #45 Petty Enterprises teams. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2001 with a degree in History and a minor in American Studies, David went to work for JR Motorsports where he served as a personal assistant to Dale Earnhardt, Jr. After garnering valuable experience as a tire specialist and catch can man on various stock cars housed at JR Motorsports; David went on to become the media relations director for the team in 2004.
David is an alumnus of the Kappa Kappa chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity where he held the position of Membership Education Chairman. Originally from Cherryville, N.C., he now resides in Mooresville, N.C. |

Geoff Huber
Geoff serves as the Hospitality and Event Manager at MCG Sports. He currently manages accounts for Petty Enterprises and Joe Gibbs Racing. Huber, who has more than 15 years of experience in event management, joined MCG Sports in December of 2006. He has spent much of his career working at PR firms, including Ogilvy Public Relations and the Cotter Group, where he worked alongside his present boss, Todd Moore.
The Columbus, Ohio native has worked with many impressive clients, including Mercedes-Benz, John Deere, Lowe’s, Sears, Motorola, and HBO Films; just to name a few. Prior to event management, Huber spent 18 years in the airline industry. A proud Navy veteran, Huber majored in Psychology at the University of Guam. |
Jill Kruger
Jill joined the the MCG Sports staff in January of 2007 taking over as Services Manager. The University of Florida graduate's experience in the services side of the business dates back to her time at Family Dollar’s headquarters in Matthews, NC and her most recent job as personal assistant to the CEO of a food brokerage company.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 2002, Jill relocated to the Charlotte area to start her career in the corporate world. She now resides in Troutman, NC with her husband, Chris. |

Stephen Moffitt
Stephen brings more than 12 years of experience to MCG Sports in motorsports marketing and sponsorship acquisition. After graduating from Greensboro College in 1994 with a BS in Sports Management, he began his career with Creative Sports. After two years, Stephen left Creative Sports to join Petty Enterprises, where he served as Director of Sponsorship for six years. In 2002, in an effort to broaden his experience in the industry, Stephen joined the Richard Petty Driving Experience as Partnership Development Manager. He joined MCG Sports in 2006 as Director of Corporate Development.
Stephen is married and has a one-year old son. His hobbies include spending time with his family, running, biking and playing basketball. |
Jill Stierli
Jill joined MCG Sports in June 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. She brings over 20 years of financial services experiences to the firm through her former positions in the consulting, legal and public accounting fields. Prior to joining MCG Sports, she was employed at Davidson Capital, a wealth management firm, where she specialized in working with NASCAR drivers. Stierli graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio with a degree in Business Administration. She has been a CPA for over 20 years.
She currently resides in Davidson, NC with her husband and daughter. |

Sara Fensterer
Sara began working at MCG Sports as an intern and joined the organization full-time in December 2007. After graduating from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill she moved to the Charlotte area to work in the motorsports industry. She gained invaluable experience as an intern at Lowe’s Motor Speedway before joining MCG Sports.
Sara serves as a Communications Manager at MCG Sports as the PR representative for NHRA Top Fuel team Doug Herbert Racing. Originally from Morganton, NC, Fensterer now lives in the University City area of Charlotte. |
