Joey Logano Quotes
“I want to thank GameStop for coming on board with me this weekend and letting me race a car with Super Mario on it. New Super Mario Bros. Wii comes out Sunday and I’m going to pick up a copy because I had a lot of fun in that car this weekend. It was fast. We had a really good car today. It’s just a shame that we didn’t get a chance to finish where we should have. This was a car that was capable of winning the race.”
“We were pretty good at the beginning, but we had to work on it a little bit during the first half of the race. The track changed a lot when the sun went down, which is normal at Phoenix. I chose the outside line on one of the early restarts to see if it would work and it just didn’t work. We lost track position and then our car got really loose on one lap and I just ended up heating up the right rear tire too much and then got shuffled back. I just didn’t have the car right there at the end to be able to race those guys.”
